Gospel Superfest Holiday-5 was filmed October 28, 2005 in front of thousands of gospel music fans from New York and around the country during what many have coined as one of the most ground breaking sessions in the history of gospel music television. GSF Executive Producer and show creator, Dr. Bobby Cartwright, Jr. states, “This was definitely one of our best efforts to date. It was the first time in our show’s history that we have repeated a city and venue. And this time I feel our production team really got it right!” And the Christian Cultural Center’s media department and staff are some of the most knowledgeable in the country. And that collaboration, with our production team, led to a great working relationship and a great looking TV show. I personally thank God for Pastor A.R. Bernard and his entire staff for allowing us to record the last two years at their incredible facility.” Cartwright goes on to say.
Gospel Superfest Holiday-5, will be followed up in syndication immediately by Gospel Superfest’ 6th Annual Salute to Black History, that also features “A List” gospel performers including Kurt Carr, Tonex, Hezekiah Walker, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Kierra “Ki Ki” Sheard, Tye Tribbett & Greater Anointing The Preacher’s Kid, and a host of other top gospel artists including a special black history original by gospel mime pioneers K & K Mime. Actress Vivica A. Fox will join Clifton Davis and Vanessa Williams for hosting duties for this special slated to begin airing January 23, 2005 thru February 27, 2005.
